Share/Save/Bookmark

The Dynasty of Lao concept came about as a way to share information on interesting people, places and things that might not actually be right in your own back yard.  About 10% of this content will be personal musings, and the rest is a grab bag with features sometimes pertaining to the most interesting and coolest city on earth, Los Angeles, as well as what's going on in the world.  The site is meant to be eclectic, broadening, nostalgic and maybe a learning experience, but most of all, fun.  Pop culture, current events, etc.  I hope you enjoy your stay and come back as often as you can.

"Someone had said, and Wilhelm agreed with the saying, that in Los Angeles all the loose objects in the country were collected, as if America had been tilted and everything that wasn't tightly screwed down had slid into Southern California."

SHOEBOX SHAVESHOP

A relativly new oasis for shaving has arrived on the internet to feed your shaving needs.  Although their inventory is a bit limited as of this writing, it's growing and the items offered are usually hard to find imported favorites amongst wet shavers.  Blades, creams, brushes, after shaves.  Customer service is said to be excellent.

LEE'S RAZORS

Great place to buy a safety razor, or for those of you who aren't the shy type, a straight razor.

They carry a large assortment of Murker brand razors from Germany and also carry shaving sets, soaps and brushes.

BEST GROOMING & SHAVING TOOLS

Besides offering Merkur razors, they also carry a bit of the Salter, Jagger and Muehle lines. Quite a broad selection for a man's every day grooming needs.

CLASSIC SHAVING

Another good site that carries a lot of shave inventory andfeaturing the expensive Zowata line of straight razors.

VINTAGE BLADES

Carries a moderate selection of shaving wares, including some higher ended items. Has an infomative shaving information area.

MUHLE

Famous German manufacturer of shaving brushes, bowels and other shaving items. Their shaving cream is wonderful, and I hear their soaps are excellent, also.

TRUFITT & HILL

Every gentleman needs a bit of Trufitt & Hill on their dresser or bathroom sink. Soaps, creams and fantastic scented aftershaves will entrall. Be sure to check out the TRAFALGAR - my personal favorite.

THE ART OF SHAVING

The lemon shaving cream from AOS was one of the first creams I ever bought. Was a bit concerned about the cheesy labeling on the tub, but that soon vanished when I used the cream. One of the most richest and creamiest shaving creams -- slick and oh, so little you have to use! The Sandalwood is warm, sexy and clean and never sickening or overpowering. I always get a above par shave with their product.

VALOBRA

Makers of excellent shaving soap from Italy. Their "bricks" shave heavenly and go a long way. Be sure to check out their bath soaps, too, which are also some of the very best bath soaps in the world.
